- Today´s Tale -
Sleepless in Iceland
4am in the morning, she sits at the hotel lobby, flipping through a book absent-mindedly, across a bold guy. Elevator music lingers around, and the two receptionists are chatting behind the desk, on and off. The bold man, her reading companion, stands up, walking out of the lobby, leaving a chill travels through the revolving door.
Out of no where, a picture of young prostitutes on mid-night Barcelona street flashes through her mind.

- Today's Tale -
To Descartes
If you are right, please let me disappear.
Give it back!!
I gave my life everything;
now, I'm empty.
The missing mythology chapter
God condemned her to eternal honesty.
Thereafter she talks about insignificant little things endlessly
not to give the important truth any chance to be exposed.
21st century small business
Snow White and her step mom opened an organic herb shop
selling preserved dry apple to all the sleep deprived.

- Today's tale -
21 century snow white
She went to the evil queen's mirror, asking
"mirror mirror on the wall, could you show me the truth of my soul?"
Then she spent the rest of her life trying to comprehend the faded image reflected in the aged mirror.
- Ode to Andros -
I
This island is made of day dreams.
Fruit trees grow and length of beach expands
every time someone somewhere is
looking through window staring at the sky.
II
If I ever thought I couldn't live outside the big city,
I was wrong;
if I ever thought life needed a goal,
I was wrong.
III
Ocean's salty taste,
heat from the sun on the body,
sand landing on the skin, and
full sight of different shades of blue

The Solution of Global Warming
My unwanted engery can light up the whole city.
- Old tale -
Self-Portrait
Swinging
and grasping
for nothing.
my feet
frozen
in the cold air,
A dizzy wind blows
On my shell.
I turn
round round and round
violently.
The whole world
shakes up-side
down.
I feel nothing
but
scream.

21 century fairy tales
The prince has only one glass sandal, so he borrows a shoe from one stranger to another waiting for the other sandal emerging to the world.
The blind girl has only one worn slipper, so she wonders around the world with one wounded bare foot wishing to stumble across another shoe.

Stomach ache-o-meter
At the age of 2,
stomach ache was caused by what was picked up from the floor and put into the mouth;
at the age of 10,
stomach ache was casused by the burger in the lunch box or flu bugs from the kids at school;
at the age of 30,
stomach ache can be caused by worry about the future, fight with friends, illness of loved ones, tomorrow's presentation, or the cold left-over chinese food from last night's delivery.

- 2006 Love stories -
One day before the bus strike, NYC
"Thank you very much. I hope to see you tomorrow...," said the old man to the bus driver.
The driver didn't show up the next day; instead, he chose to break his silent promise.
Three days before Christmas
Sitting at the opposite ends of dining table, she is looking for the biggest flat pannel TV for him, while he is looking for the smallest MP3 player for her through internet.

"Ask me questions. Don't you have any questions?" he asks
again and again.
She looks through all her pockets. The only thing she can find
are answers.
- Old tales -
Rain
Rain, like fine feathers
falls in the garden
to kiss
the thirsty
flowers
Desperation
My life is an inkless pen writing “hope“ on the boundless universe

Nonesense
Life is not getting better or worse; it's simply getting more complicated.
- Old tales -
Odes to Autumn
How could autumn breeze know the withered leaves are still in love with the branch?
Wind is unwilling to let the dead leaves go, so it turns the leaves into numerous yellow butterflies, flying under the autumn blue sky.
